And that's certainly the case for the two newest members of Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills, as revealed in a trailer for Season Four of the hit reality show.
Former Miss Puerto Rico Joyce Giraud de Ohoven, 34, and actress-turned designer Carlton Gebbia enter the fray like old hands and immediately cause uproar among the group.

Back to her old tricks: Brandi is quick to fall out with newbie Joyce Giraud after getting drunk and calling her a 'big fat pig'
'Carlton is a bad-ass,' declared Brandi, before the pair pucker up in a swimming pool. 'She's hot, I like her.'
Meanwhile, Joyce quickly gets on the wrong side of the ex-Mrs Cibrian, after Brandi gets drunk during a girls' dinner and calls the beauty queen 'a big fat pig.'

After being labelled a bully by the model, Glanville came back all guns blazing, saying: 'If I was a bully I would have knocked your f***ing teeth out by now!'
Despite the fact that early on Joyce admitted: 'I look the part but I don't know what I'm doing,' she seems to be just as feisty as her co-stars and is even shown to be a dab hand on the gun range.

'Joyce is beautiful and bubbly, but you don't want to get on her bad side,' Kyle Richards knowingly confirmed.
Meanwhile, Carlton - who is a self-professed witch - got on the wrong side of Kyle, 44, in an argument revolving around her spiritual beliefs.
'If you don't want to be judged for being a wiccan, don't act like a witch,' Paris Hilton's aunt screamed, to which Geddia replied: 'Do don't f***ing dare command me!'
In further drama, accusations of cheating surrounded Kyle's husband Mauricio Umansky, and it was even suggested that one of the group might be blackmailing him about an alleged affair.

And former best friends Brandi and Lisa fall out, with Lisa confiding to fellow Englishwoman Carlton: 'I've been such a good friend to Brandi, but some things she's done have been viscous.'
The trailer ends dramatically with Brandi crowing over Lisa: 'I know you're the chess player of all-time, but I just f***ing checkmated you, b***h.'
Despite the departure of regulars Taylor Armstrong and Adrienne Maloof, it seems the show will not be dull without them.
